Woking Technology Centre - TC3
SunGard Availability Services will be opening a new Technology Centre in the Spring of 2009. The data centre facility in Woking will initially provide around 25,000 sq ft of managed services data centre.
Lack of quality data centre space in London is a pressing business concern for SunGard customers, and it is important for us to address the issue early which is why we have decided to develop our Managed Services offering in Woking.
As with all SunGard managed services data centres the 24*7 manned on site SunGard Control Centre (SCC) will provide an remote hands service with all monitoring and management provided by the UK Network Operations Centre (NOC).
The Technology Centre will be connected via multiple communications providers as well as having resilient links into the SunGard network. This will mean the centre is connected to all other SunGard Technology Centres giving the ability to load balance and replicate production environments.
