Overview
SunGard’s Enhanced Web Monitoring service provides for execution of Customer provided transactions to measure end-to-end application responsiveness. This service interacts with a web site, emulating transactions by using HTTP page GET or POST etc. For example emulating a customer logging in with username and password, to post an order on the site, thereby verifying the full chain of events, including middleware and databases, are fully functional. For complete resilience this service is delivered outside, and therefore independent, of the SunGard provided Managed Internet service.

Benefits
In addition to confirming the Customer’s web site is available, the Enhanced Web Monitoring service ensures the web site is operational by interacting and emulating transactions.
Options
In the event of a negative transaction response SunGard will follow Customer directions to resolve problems if the server is managed by SunGard. There are no optional features available for this service. SunGard will work directly with the Customer’s application experts to develop the exact requirements for each step of each transaction.
