Overview
For increased visibility of application performance and proactive monitoring of application and databases, SunGard’s monitoring services extend all the way up to the application layer. Specially designed plug-in modules, called Application Insight Modules (AIMs), for the Platform Monitoring agent interface with the application layer provide a detailed insight and are therefore able to detect any immediate or potential failures. Servers are monitored 24/7 and Customers are notified of any alerts thereby preventing a service impacting event.

Server or Database problem resolution is included for Customers subscribing to SunGard’s Database or Operating System Management Services.
Service requirements
Platform monitoring is a prerequisite and therefore the server hardware and Operating System must be on the supported platform matrix.
Servers must be connected to the SunGard monitoring network which currently is only available at SunGard’s Technology Centres
