The Managed Testing Programme is a service that provides technical specialist knowledge from our Analysts, ICT and BC Consulting teams. This service has a number of benefits, providing an efficient and effective tailored solution to enhance your testing and recovery by:

  • Delivering support from highly skilled and experienced recovery analysts
  • Supporting the full documentation to support any internal and external audit requirements

The breadth and depth of SunGard managed testing and recovery support provides you with a total flexible solution to ensure you get the service you need.  Our Managed Testing Programme provides you with the choice of 3 options, meaning it is tailored to your exact needs and available budget. Options include:

  • Full Analyst and Business Continuity Consultant Support
  • Analyst and Technical support and the creation of Technical
  • Documentation
  • Analyst Support and review of documentation

The service is provided at any of the SunGard facilities.

The Benefits/Outline of Available Options:

Managed Testing
This service establishes a program over a period covering 3 tests that will ensure you have the ability to recover your critical servers during test and invocation.  Our BC Consultants and Analysts work alongside you to:

  • Organise your test at SunGard
  • Prepare pre-test objectives
  • Provide technical support in the efficient recovery of critical computer systems for testing and invocation
  • Review/create technical documentation for regular maintenance and future tests
  • Review Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) with you
  • Review Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) with you
  • Make plan recommendations
  • Prepare a test report
  • Improve confidence in Business Continuity Management (BCM)
  • Work with you to improve both business and technical aspects of recovery
  • Align exercising to BS 25999

Technical Documentation and Recovery Support
This service provides you with Technical and Analyst support to assist you with the recovery of your critical servers during either your first test or subsequent tests.

Our Technical Consultant(s) and Analysts work alongside you to:

  • Support in the efficient recovery of critical computer systems for testing Review Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) with you
  • Review Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) with you
  • Create technical documentation for regular maintenance and future tests
  • Improve confidence in Information Communications Technology (ICT)
  • Assist you to improve technical aspects of recovery
  • Provide advice aligned to BS 25777

Platform Analyst Support
This service provides you with Analyst support to assist you with the recovery of your critical servers during any single test.

Our Analysts work alongside you to:

  • Support in the efficient recovery of critical computer systems
  • Provide recovery knowledge on specific platforms
  • Improve confidence in recovery capability
  • Maximise the time and resource during recovery test
  • Ensure dedicated recovery resource
