The Network Assessment service gives you:
- The expertise and experience of our network specialist
- “‘Big picture’ analysis” of network topology
- A review of your network infrastructure assessing resilience, performance and best practice. All aspects of your installation will be analysed for technical issues both physical and logical and its compatibility emerging network technologies
- Review of the physical elements of the infrastructure, such as network cabling, power configuration and system layout
- A detailed, “RAG-coded” breakdown of risks, vulnerabilities and good practices, along with remediation recommendations where appropriate
- Alternate network design if required as part of scope
- Best practice design and implementation
What does it involve?
- A SunGard Consultant will contact you to arrange a site visit
- Information on current network and diagrams will be requested and reviewed offsite
- The consultant will hold interviews with up to 5 key persons to discuss:
- Network configuration
- Communication requirements
- Network hardware
- During the visit, the consultant will review the datacentre and network infrastructure
- Following the visit the consultant will complete a report including:
- detailed accurate network topology
- vulnerabilities and weaknesses
- identification of potential issues
- recommendations and options for improvements
- Upon completion of the entire assignment, the SunGard Consultant will present to you all findings and recommendations.
Option to include IT Capability by:
- Including Business Continuity (BC) critical processes and RTOs/RPOs for analysis alongside the output from the Infrastructure review
- Inclusion of BC findings and Industry Best Practice
- A unified view of overall efficiency, effectiveness and resilience of the organisation.
