Service Overview
The Business Impact Analysis (BIA) Programme provides specialist knowledge from our Business Continuity (BC) Consultants.  In other words we assist you to understand the organisation through identifying key products or services and the critical activities, resources and people that either undertake them or support delivery of them.  This element of the BC Lifecycle is aligned to the organisations objectives and commitments to stakeholders whilst ensuring that any regulatory or statutory duties are recognised.  A systemic but flexible approach to SunGard’s delivery provides you with the analysis of:

  • Critical processes – identifying the critical processes that need to be maintained for continued operation
  • Critical dependency – identifying the internal and external services and assets your critical functions require for continued operation
  • Impact of disruption – assessing the impact in terms of operations, customers, reputation, finance and staff, should critical functions become inoperable
  • Risk of impact – assess the likelihood of such an impact should critical functions become inoperable
  • Recovery needs – identify and prioritise the recovery needs for critical functions in terms of business assets and technology support
